The Undiscovered Jewel of Plantation Country. While all of Louisiana in one way or another is considered to be a "Sportsmans Paradise," Pointe Coupee Parish adds a little Cajun seasoning to our paradise. Surrounded by rivers and basins, dotted with lakes and ponds both large and small, Pointe Coupee Parish is a Sportsmans Paradise "right out back!"

New Roads is famous for its Mardi Gras Parades on Fat Tuesday; the fantastic lake the town was founded upon, False River; its breathtaking architecture such as the St Mary's Catholic Church and the Pointe Coupee Parish Courthouse; and it's Acadian French Culture and hospitality. People in New Roads love to party, cook, fish, ski, and have a good time!
